Lake Arthur is a nice lake to visit. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Arthur a wet spot; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. Dry warm beds await you at Cleveland Days Inn, and the scenery at Lake Arthur Dam is wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Chestatee River, and the Whitly Gap Trail offers hiking at its best.

| | in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. So many fun things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. Why not camp at Brookside Camp Ground while you're here at Lake Arthur, and after a long day outdoors Pura Vida USA is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Tesnatee Creek, and Lake Arthur is right by the DeSoto Falls Trail.

it keeps on going; Lake Arthur has it all. If you're here at Lake Arthur and you like golf, you can check out Nicklaus Golf Club at Birch River, and since you're here, you could take a look at Chateen Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
Camping is available at Paradise Valley Campground, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Gainesville for sure.
This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. If you get bored of Lake Arthur,
you could also check out nearby Smith Lake; hiking along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail is good fun. Through the summertime, highs mostly are in the 80's at Lake Arthur. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Daytime
highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Lake Arthur through the winter ordinarily sink into the 20's.
