You'll locate a scenic lake called Baker Lake near Lake Arrowhead, and an afternoon playing golf at Bowden Golf Course is always a pleasure. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail, and Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a great campground here. Summertime highs at Lake Arrowhead typically tend to be in the 80's while night lows are mostly       in the 60's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 50's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Lake Arrowhead tend to be in the 30's. If you need a location to stay Macon Days Inn is a perfect choice; Lake Arrowhead is a location with many visitors from Macon. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Looking for a great spree? Ocmulgee National Monument is reasonably close to Lake Arrowhead, and a splendid close by hotel is River View Hotel and                  Ballroom. A great deal of rainfall falls at Lake Arrowhead; through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
