Lake Sidney Lanier is a delightful lake close to Lake Alice; dry warm beds await you at Sun Suites of Cumming. All our national parks are glorious spots to stop by, and Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is no exception, and lots of folks from Gainesville come here. This lake is so wonderful. Windermere Golf Club 1 is a great golf course close by; a brilliant place to camp here at Lake Alice is Sawnee Campground. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things
the area close to Lake Alice has to offer. Why not camp at Twin Lakes Park while you're here at Lake Alice; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Amicalola Creek. Lake Alice gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is October.
