Lake Alice gets lots of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is October. Lake Alice is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Sawnee Campground is a nice local campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Lake Alice. Camping at Twin Lakes Park is always a great experience, and       a lake nearby is Wilkie. Through the summer months here at Lake Alice, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Alice. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Settingdown Creek, and a great close by hotel is Sun Suites of Cumming. If time allows, Chattahoochee River National Recreation                  Area is a national park worth checking out; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ATLANTA-CUMMING is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. People from Gainesville love to come to Lake Alice. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Amicalola Creek; since you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Windermere Golf Club 1.
