What a nice lake Lake Alice is. Lake Alice gets lots of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is October. Lake Alice is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Sawnee Campground is a nice local campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail. | | a lake nearby is Wilkie. Through the summer months here at Lake Alice, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Alice. so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Amicalola Creek; since you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Windermere Golf Club 1. If you get bored of Lake Alice, you could also stop at close by Mashburn Mill Lake, and Mashburn Mill Dam is an exciting thing to check out.
