Gold 'n Gem Grubbin' Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and Knight Lake is right by the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. Knight Lake is a reasonably wet place generally with a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls during March, and October is the month with the least moisture. Knight Lake Dam has great water       scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Knight Lake, and hiking along the Whitly Gap Trail is magnificent fun. Summertime highs at Knight Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Knight Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. While you're here at Knight Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Gainesville. Man,                  is there a lot of fun things to do near Knight Lake. Jenny's Creek Campground is a good local campground, and if you're here you can play some golf at Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Helen is a fine place to spend a night or two, and Twin Lakes East is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tesnatee Creek, and do check out Hills Lake, it's a scenic lake. Cleveland Days Inn is a wonderful spot to get some rest; going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful.
