A good place to camp here at Kitchens Lake is Rocky Comfort Plantation Campground, and you can run the rapids of Ogeechee River. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Kitchens Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Kitchens Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little       tour to Kitchens Lake Dam if you're here at Kitchens Lake, and why not camp at Fountain Campground while you're here at Kitchens Lake. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Kitchens Lake. Scottish Inns Thomson is a great place to get some rest, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Boulders the Golf Course is in close proximity. The high level of rain makes Kitchens Lake a relatively wet place; the month with most of the                  rain is January, and September is the month with the least moisture. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Thomson is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Lakes?
