Kincaid Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Amicalola Falls State Park       and Lodge is a perfect place to camp nearby, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Long Swamp Creek. At Kincaid Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Kincaid Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Microtel Inn & Suites Jasper                  is a delightful spot to get some rest; Grogan Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Kincaid Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Fausett Lake. Lakes are nice; Lake Laurel is a lake that's near Kincaid Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a great time. Kincaid Lake is right by the Benton Mackaye Trail, and a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Amicalola Creek. Under the Hemlock is a brilliant campground nearby, and Amicalola Falls is a good local attraction. Hiking along the Black Mountain Trail is perfect fun, and a great close by hotel is Super 8 Motels - Jasper. Kincaid Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
