The beauty of Kennedy Lake is reason enough to stop by. At Kennedy Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 50's with temperatures at Kennedy Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Cutoff Number 7-A is an out of the ordinary site to go to while at Kennedy Lake. Palmetto Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Whispering Pines Campground. Kennedy Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is October.
