Jug Lake is a pleasant site to camp, Darien Inland Harbor Camp is a pleasant site. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Darien is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and there are other locations here than Jug Lake, for example Belly Hole Lake. Hortense wesleyan Camp is a tremendous campground here, and as expected Bridge Branch flows through this area. All through the days of summer at Jug Lake temperatures       are usually in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 60's with temperatures at Jug Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Brunswick here, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Darien.
