Jones Lakes is not far at all from Rome, and after a long day outdoors Hawthorn Suites Ltd Rome is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Very glorious water scenery is available at Jones Lake Dam near Jones Lakes, and Comfort Inn Rome is a brilliant place to get some rest. Jones Lakes generally gets much rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and October       is the month with the least moisture. Jones Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Cedar Creek. Summertime highs at Jones Lakes mostly tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, usually in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Jones Lakes temperatures drop to the 20's.                  Johnnies Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by; while you're here you can play some golf at Horseleg Creek Country Club. So many amusing things in close proximity to Jones Lakes, simply amazing. If you came to camp Rome-floyd County Recreation is a tremendous place to do that, and Jones Lakes is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Morrison Campground is a magnificent local campground.   Comfort Inn Rome, Rome 6 miles away Walking distance to shopping and restaurants.
