Paddling on Big Cedar Creek is so much fun. Summertime highs at Jones Lakes typically tend to be in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Jones Lakes dipping down into the 20's through winter       nights. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Horseleg Creek Country Club; get wet paddling on Johnnies Creek. Jones Lakes gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. You're in all probability addicted to lakes, Jones Lake is one of those nearby, and if you came to camp Rome-floyd County Recreation is a great place to do that.
