The Banks Mill Road to confluence with upper section of Dog portion is a magnificent 0.75-mile-long category II-III section of whitewater on Mobley Creek. This portion of Mobley Creek is advised for whitewater boaters of medium practice. Nearby you come upon the GA Route 5 to Dog River Reservoir segment, a class III+ segment of whitewater. It's a delightful 7-mile-from-start-to-finish segment on Dog River. This segment of Dog River is fitting for paddlers who have
been whitewater boating for a period of time but who are not yet ready for the extremely perilous rapids. You have to check the situation before heading out; whitewater boating could turn perilous.
