There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Jones Lake. Big Sandy Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Jones Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Hilltop Inn. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Jones Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and overnight lows       during the wintertime for Jones Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Ocmulgee River Trail is always a pleasant adventure; Jones Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Go for a hike on the Kinnard Horse Trail, and you can stay the night at High Falls Campground. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Towaliga River, and Days Inn At Jackson is a perfect spot to get some                  rest. Jones Lake is a brilliant place to camp, L and D RV Park is a brilliant place, and don't leave Jones Lake without first going for a hike along the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail.
