Jones Lake is a lake worth visiting. Playing golf is lots of fun at Forsyth Golf Club; some of the water nearby flows, like Cole Creek. Jones Lake gets lots of water; during March this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Jones Lake Dam is worth a visit while you're here; if you've had enough of Jones Lake, Fred Vaughn Lake is nearby.

| | hiking along the Ocmulgee River Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Hilltop Inn is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Towaliga River is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Jones Lake that you need to camp here for a while, L and D RV Park is a brilliant location for that. This lake is so wonderful.

is a good place to do that. Whitewater paddling is great on Little Towaliga River, and if you need a site to stay Budget Inn Express is a great choice. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Jones Lake, and during summer nights temperatures
are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 50's; night lows at Jones Lake during the winter usually sink into the 30's.
