Why not stop at Ellijay Watershed Number Three Dam since you're here. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Limited Of Blue Ridge, and Whitepath Golf Club & is a brilliant golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Augerhole Gap is a magnificent place to check out close by; Plum Nelly Campground is a nice local campground. The panorama of delightful Big Hill near Jones Lake is great, and if you came for an overnight       stay Nelly Plum Campground is a brilliant place to camp. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Jones Lake get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Jones Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Amy Creek, and a brilliant place for whitewater paddling is Cartecay River. There are other spots                  here than Jones Lake, for example Walnut Mountain Lake A; on a great day you can take a hike along the Mountaintown Creek Trail. While you're here at Jones Lake you can take a hike along the South Fork Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Cartecay River. Jones Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is October. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Jones Lake.
