Jones Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Southern Trails Resort is a good local campground; you're sure to come across some cheerful folks from Cordele here. Jones Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of rainfall; during January this area sees the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This is a pleasant area for folks who like lakes. Ford Lake is a lake close at hand, and if you came       to camp Dooly Campground is a good place to do that. Dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Cordele. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn Unadilla is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and you can take a little trip to Jones Dam if you're here at Jones Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Jones Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's.
