Johnston Lake is a lake worth visiting. Why not visit Johnston Lake Dam since you're here; Johnston Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Morrison Campground is a good local campground. You could also have a look at Rutledge Lake if you're here at Johnston Lake; it's close by, and dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express Inn. This lake is so wonderful.
