Enjoy a round of golf at Boulders the Golf Course not far from Johnsons Lake, and the scenery at Johnson Dam is striking. A great close by hotel is Scottish Inns Thomson, and you can stay the night at Rocky Comfort Plantation Campground. If you get bored of Johnsons Lake, you could also pop by nearby Kitchens Lake, and Econo Lodge Thomson is a wonderful place to get some rest. All       through the months of summer highs here at Johnsons Lake get into the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's; during the dark hours in the winter at Johnsons Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. And that's not all you can do here at Johnsons Lake. Johnsons Lake is a quite wet place typically with lots of rain; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and                  the driest of the months is September.
