You don’t have to go far from Johnsons Lake to catch a sight of the water at Johnsons Lake Dam, and you're sure to bump into some great people from Gainesville here. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Johnsons Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Johnsons Lake a wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
