Not far from Johnson Lake, you'll find Bar Hole Lake which is a scenic lake, and no need to travel far to pop by interesting stuff like Lake Bluff. This lake is so wonderful. Cole Eddy is in the neighborhood and always good to explore, and Jesup, Ga. Days Inn is a delightful site to get some rest. Through the summer at Johnson Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. For the period       of the winter this place gets highs in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Johnson Lake temperatures fall to the 30's. Johnson Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not camp at Beaver Creek RV Campground if you're here at Johnson Lake; if you're popping by from Jesup, you won't be the only one.
