This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Johnson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sweetwater Creek State Park is a good site for that; if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Atl West (I-20) d'Ville Area is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Lake Sarah Glenn; do stop at Johnson Lake Dam while you're here. You'll need more than a day to look at everything       Johnson Lake has to offer, you can camp at South Oaks Manufactured Home, and some of the water nearby flows, like Caine Creek. Spring Hill Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and the views at Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail will blow your mind. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Johnson Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 60's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 40's with temperatures                  at Johnson Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mobley Creek, and golf can be played at St Andrews Golf & Country Club. The high level of precipitation makes Johnson Lake a pretty wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is usually the driest month. This place is so good, just explore all the cool things to do in close proximity to Johnson Lake.
