    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Georgia you can check out Johnson Lake. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Johnson Lake Dam; McGee Lake is a good lake close by. Throughout the months of summer at Johnson Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's while Johnson Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime  
   are in the 20's. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Daniel Creek; a round of golf at nearby Canyon Ridge Golf Course is a wonderful way to kill some time.
A good deal of rainfall falls at Johnson Lake; most of the rain falls throughout March, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Cloudland Canyon State Park is a brilliant place to camp,
 
               and there are other places here than Johnson Lake, for example Moore Lake. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Johnson Lake. Russell Cave National Monument is a perfect national park; Johnson Lake is not far at all from Summerville.
Johnson Lake is right by the Skyuka Trail, and if you're here at Johnson Lake, checking out Johnson Crook is a must. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Key West Inn La Fayette is a delightful choice It's always great to check out Forester Spring. Just can't get enough of Johnson Lake. Bradford Gap is a good site to stop by nearby.
Take a hike on the Bluff Trail; Gulf Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. Dry warm beds await you at Trenton Days Inn, and The Chimney's Campground is a splendid local campground.
