If you like lakes and you're in this part of Georgia you can check out Johnson Lake. Visiting Russell Cave National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Much rain falls at Johnson Lake; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. Johnson Crook is an out of the ordinary thing to see since you're here at Johnson Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore

| | everything Johnson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cloudland Canyon State Park. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Daniel Creek, and a great site is Bradford Gap. This lake is so wonderful. Forester Spring is a wonderful location to go to while you're at Johnson Lake; if you need a location to stay Key West Inn La Fayette is a great choice. Johnson Lake Dam is stunning and it's right next door to Johnson Lake, and playing golf is lots of fun at Canyon Ridge | |

Golf Course. All the outdoors entertaining things in the vicinity of Johnson Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. There's so much to do here at Johnson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, The Chimney's Campground
is a tremendous spot for that; there's good hiking along the Skyuka Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Johnson Lake; Bluff Trail is a delightful local trail, and there are plenty of folks from Summerville here. Dry warm
beds await you at Trenton Days Inn; Gulf Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. Through the long summer days here at Johnson Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures
plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Johnson Lake temperatures dip to the 20's.
