Johns Pond beyond       doubt is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Super 8 Motel - Waycross is a wonderful site to get some rest, and camping at Traders Hill Recreation Area is always a perfect experience. This is a brilliant neighborhood for people who like lakes. Picnic Lake is a lake nearby; the Indian Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. At Johns Pond throughout the summer months highs are in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the                  60's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Johns Pond.
