Johns Pond is a nice lake to visit. Johns Pond generally gets a lot of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while October is mostly the driest month. Camping at Traders Hill Recreation Area is always a fine experience, and a brilliant site to camp here at Johns Pond is Strickland Ferry Camp. You'll meet a lot of folks from Waycross here, and dry warm beds await you at Bradbury Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Bel Air Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and close by you come across the Indian Trail which is a great hiking trail.
