Jenkins Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls throughout March; October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Super Value Inn-Richland, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Red Oak Golf Club. Lots of folks from Columbus come to Jenkins Pond; camping at Florence Marina State Park is       always a splendid experience. At Jenkins Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 90's while night lows are regularly in the 70's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Jenkins Pond. Jenkins Pond Dam is a striking place near Jenkins Pond, and Dykes Pond is a perfect lake nearby.
