James Lakes is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a good deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month is October. So much amusing       stuff to do here at James Lakes, too tremendous to be true. You don’t have to go far from James Lakes to spot the water at Herds Lake Dam; if you came for an overnight stay Lake Pines Camp Ground is a brilliant location to camp. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Herds Lake; there's whitewater on Mulberry Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. You can run the rapids of Chattahoochee River near James Lakes; if you need a                  place to stay Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Columbus is a tremendous choice. Throughout the long summer days at James Lakes temperatures are regularly in the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
