This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Beaumont Mountain can be seen from Jackson Lake, and if you came to camp Best Holiday Trav-l-park is a tremendous site to do that. Get dripping wet paddling on Middle Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Rock Creek, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Chattanooga. Jackson Lake is not       the only location nearby, Murphy Lakes is a nearby lake, and a good nearby hotel is Red Roof Inn Ringgold. Battlefield Golf Club is a good golf course nearby; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Hardy Trail. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Leet Spring is an inspiring spot to stop by during your stay; if you need a location to stay Home Town Inn Ringgold/Fort Oglethorpe is a fine choice. All the water falling down from the sky                  makes Jackson Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Jackson Lake Dam. There's so much to do here at Jackson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ringgold Koa Kampground is a great site for that. On a delightful day at Jackson Lake you can take a hike along the Bluff Trail, and if you get bored of Jackson Lake you could also have a look at nearby Blue Spring Lake. During the warm days of summer at Jackson Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's.
