Lloyd Shoals Dam is a scenic location close to Jackson Lake, and needless to say Herds Creek flows through this vicinity. A wonderful lake like Richardson Lake close to Jackson Lake is a tremendous place to check out, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Jackson Lake; Ocmulgee River Trail is a great local trail. Paddling on Alcovy River is so much fun, and Stalnaker Lake is a nice lake close by. If you need a location to stay Days Inn Jackson is a magnificent

All the water falling down from the sky makes Jackson Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most; September is the month with the least moisture. Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Quality Inn Covington is a glorious site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Big Sandy Creek has a glorious whitewater
paddling spot nearby, and Sardis Campground is a great campground nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the vicinity of Jackson Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Indian Springs State Park is a magnificent location to camp; why not take a refreshing hike along the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail.
