This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Ivey Lake through the summertime months are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Ivey Lake during the winter usually descend into the 30's. Ivey Lake is near Furman Shoals which is positively worth a visit; there's some flowing water close by, Champion Creek is a stream you can pop                  by while here. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Milledgeville, Ga. is a great site to get some rest, and you can take a little trip to Ivey Lake Dam while you're here at Ivey Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Milledgeville, and if you came for an overnight stay Little River Park is a great site to camp. Ivey Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October.
