| | RV Park and Campground is a fine spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Milledgeville is a great spot to get some rest, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Little River. A pleasant close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MILLEDGEVILLE, and a wonderful lake like Milledgeville City Lake is a good place to visit. Looking for some flowing water? Try Champion Creek, and Furman Shoals is also a nice place to discover. Summertime | |
| |
highs at Ivey Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's; the night is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Ivey Lake. You'll meet
a lot of people from Milledgeville here, and not far from Ivey Lake you acquire some perfect water scenery at Ivey Lake Dam. All the water falling down from the sky makes Ivey Lake a wet spot; of all the months in a year March
is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.

Twin Bridges Trail
 | 13 miles away The Twin Bridges Trail is a bit strenuous and half of it is along the lake. It ends near a hunting camp where trash is dumped by campers. I really wish the trail were longer. USFS needs to consider walk-in camping with a parking area to require campers to walk 1/4 mile to the sites. The gate needs to be locked to the lakeside lots except for hunting season.... |
