Lakes are nice; Cash Lake is a lake that's close to Irvin Pond. Throughout the summer months at Irvin Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Irvin Pond temperatures drop to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Irvin Pond is a relatively wet place typically with a lot of precipitation;       March is the wettest month with most rain while October is typically the driest month. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Days Inn Cornelia is a perfect place to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is great on Nancy Town River. During your visit to Irvin Pond you'll meet some people from Cornelia for sure; some close by water includes Brady Creek. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Cornelia Inn is a brilliant choice, and there's some                  exciting stuff to spot at Cash Lake Dam near Irvin Pond. Paddling on Hudson River is so much fun, and not far from Irvin Pond you'll stumble on Reservoir 17 which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful.
