From Irvin Lake you acquire a splendid panorama of Red Root Mountain, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Nancy Town River. Nancy Town Lake Dam is not far at all from Irvin Lake, and camping is available at Lake Russell Campground. Summertime highs at Irvin Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically                  in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Irvin Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Pink Dill Branch is a stream you can go to while here, and why not camp at Hazel Creek RV Park while you're here at Irvin Lake.
