Why not stop by Hurte Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Hurte Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Hurte Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Long Swamp Creek, and golf can be played at Woodmont Golf Club. If you came to camp Marietta Campground is a nice site to do that, and Beaver Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. on Big Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; at Mill Canton Creek Structure Number Four Dam in the neighborhood of Hurte Lake there are some interesting things to see. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hurte Lake a wet site; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October.
