Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Johnnies Creek, and Hunts Lake is a good spot to camp, Lad Marina and Campground is a good spot. Hunts Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain; during the month of March you get the most rain around here; October is the month with the least moisture. Here at Hunts Lake there are plenty of people from Cedartown, and there's whitewater on Big Cedar Creek for all you adrenaline       rush seekers. The scenery at Hunts Lake Dam close to Hunts Lake is charming, and Rome-floyd County Recreation is a wonderful campground here. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Kirkpatrick Lake, and after a long day outdoors A 1 Motor Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Hunts Lake has it all. A brilliant close by hotel is Cedar Creek Lodge & Chalets, and a round of golf at nearby                  Cherokee Golf & Country Club is a glorious way to kill some time. High temperatures at Hunts Lake through the warm months are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's.
