Hunnicutt Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Dry warm beds await you at Hotel Indigo ATHENS UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA; if you come at the right time of year, Rose Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Apalachee River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hunnicutt Lake has to offer, you can camp at Commerce Koa Kampground. Throughout the summertime at Hunnicutt Lake

| | highs are mostly in the 80's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, usually in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 50's; through the dark hours in the winter at Hunnicutt Lake temperatures fall to the 20's.

Hunnicutt Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mounds Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hunnicutt Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Athens-Clarke County, and you'll find a lovely
lake called Sanford Lake. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are really abundant here at Hunnicutt Lake. There's so much to do here at Hunnicutt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Lake RV Campground is a glorious location
for that, and it's a wonderful idea to have a look at Long Branch. Hunnicutt Lake is a quite wet place frequently with a large amount of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and September is when it's the driest.
This
lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Falling Camp Trail, and do take a look at Reservoir Six, it's a pretty lake.
