Go for a hike on the Ocmulgee River Trail, and as expected, this is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes, Maynard Lake is a lake in close proximity. A great nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Macon, and there's some exciting stuff to see at Huneycut Lake Dam close to Huneycut Lake. Get soaked paddling on Little Towaliga River, and camping at Tabernacle Campground is always a brilliant experience.
