Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hulett Lake while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Hulett Lake. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do next to Hulett Lake. Hulett Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park       is a great local campground, and Days Inn Gray is a great place to get some rest. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling close to Hulett Lake is Little River, and if you're here, you could check out Little Chehaw Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Hulett Dam, and a lake nearby is Lowe Lake. Hulett Lake gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that                  rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. A journey to Ocmulgee National Monument is worthwhile; if you're here you can take a hike along the Ocmulgee River Trail. This lake is so wonderful. At Hulett Lake you always meet someone from Macon; Hulett Lake is not the only spot close by, Ussery Lake is a close by lake.
