    Many people like to go to Hughes Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Hughes Lake, you'll discover Rowell Lake which is a pretty lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Forsyth. Hughes Lake is a wet place that gets much rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest.
Tabernacle Campground is a great local campground, and Hughes Lake Dam is a place that is in close proximity to
 
   Hughes Lake. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hughes Lake. Hughes Lake is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a splendid spot to camp nearby, and some nearby water includes Kelsey Branch. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Forsyth is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little  
               Towaliga River.
Throughout the long summer days highs here at Hughes Lake reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Hughes Lake. During your spree to Hughes Lake you'll meet some people from Fort Valley for sure. Lakes are brilliant; Hatcher Lake is a lake that's next to Hughes Lake.
