Econo Lodge Macon is a delightful spot to get some rest, and do pop by Rock Creek while you're here at Howell Lake. Going for a hike on the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and not far from Howell Lake you'll stumble on Club Lake which is a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. All through the warmest time of the year at Howell Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Once the       sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Howell Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Howell Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park is a good place to camp nearby. Lakes are perfect; Coulters Lake is a lake that's close to Howell Lake. Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a perfect local campground; an afternoon playing golf                  at Bowden Golf Course is always a pleasure.
