So many exciting things to do here at Howards Lake, too magnificent to be true. Hole-in-Swamp is a swamp next to Howards Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Regency Inn Augusta. This lake is so wonderful. Augusta Days Inn is a great place to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Redcliffe Plantation state Historic Site is a great place to camp. At Howards Lake during the long summer       days highs are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 50's, and night lows at Howards Lake during the winter generally descend into the 30's. Bridge Creek is a pretty stream that is worth going to, and if you're here, you could also stop by stunning Bennock Millpond. Howards Lake is a rather wet place regularly with a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls all through March; November meanwhile is the                  driest month. Bennock Millpond Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and you'll meet a lot of people from Augusta-Richmond County here.
