What a nice lake Howard Lake is. Barwick Mill Dam Two is scenic and it's near Howard Lake, and you'll come across a wonderful lake called Barwick Reservoir. Don't leave Howard Lake without first paying a visit to Howard Lake Spring. There's so much to do here at Howard Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ringgold Koa Kampground is a wonderful place for that. Howard Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Holiday Trav-l-park is a good local campground,

This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Lafayette Days Inn is a good spot to get some rest, and swing by Arnold Branch it's a perfect spot to pop by. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Howard Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. the winter temperatures at Howard Lake plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Hardy Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and there are some great whitewater spots on Allen
Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Key West Inn La Fayette; a golf course nearby is Lafayette Golf Course. Howard Lake usually gets much rain; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the
one that rains the most, and the driest month is August.
Hiking along the Bluff Trail is delightful fun; there's whitewater on Rock Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
