There are plenty of people from Summerville here at Howard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. At Barwick Mill Dam Two right next door to Howard Lake there are some interesting things to see; Howard Lake Spring is a charming site to visit while you're at Howard Lake. Life's too short       to enjoy all the exciting stuff near Howard Lake. You could also explore Lake Howard since you're here at Howard Lake; it's nearby, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Hardy Trail. While you're here at Howard Lake you can play some golf at Lafayette Golf Course, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Barwick Reservoir is just a very short distance away. Arnold Branch is a perfect location to have a look at, and dry                  warm beds await you at Days Inn La Fayette. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Allen Creek, and going for a hike along the Bluff Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. During the summer months at Howard Lake highs are generally in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Howard Lake. Howard Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that rains the most, and August is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
