Hopper Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Plum Nelly Campground is a nice campground here; going for a hike on the Songbird Trail is always a great adventure. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in close proximity to Hopper Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Log Campground is a good location to camp. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hopper Lake. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. The wintertime

Whitewater paddling is glorious on Talking Rock Creek; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Calhoun is a good choice. Near Hopper Lake you locate the Emery Creek Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail; people from Calhoun love to come here. Hopper Lake mostly gets a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is October. | |
