Why not camp at Forsyth Koa Kampground if you're here at Hook Pond, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Towaliga River. While you're here at Hook Pond you can take a hike along the Ocmulgee River Trail; Little Towaliga River is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would       be. A glorious close by hotel is Best Western Hilltop Inn; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Kinnard Horse Trail. A perfect place to camp here at Hook Pond is L and D RV Park, and enjoy a round of golf at Forsyth Golf Club. For the period of the summertime months at Hook Pond highs are typically in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in                  the 30's to Hook Pond. Hook Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
