So much amusing stuff to do here at Hook Pond, too wonderful to be true. L and D RV Park is a fine campground nearby, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Towaliga River. Best Western Hilltop Inn is a nice site to get some rest, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the       Allison Lake Wildlife Trail. Hook Pond gets a great deal of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly March, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is October. Hook Pond is a good location to visit for more than one day, Forsyth KOA is a good location to camp nearby; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Forsyth. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Forsyth Golf Club is in the neighborhood,                  and going for a hike along the Ocmulgee River Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Through the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Hook Pond. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Hook Pond dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
