Hodges Pond is a wet location that gets much rainfall; most of the rain falls all through July, and October is when it's the driest. There are plenty of folks from Valdosta here at Hodges Pond, and after a long day outdoors Knights Inn - Hahira/Valdosta Area is a good site       to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Boyette Pond is a wonderful lake right next door to Hodges Pond, and camping at River Park RV Park is always a great experience. A charming lake like Hutchinson Pond in close proximity to Hodges Pond is a good spot to take a look at. At Hodges Pond all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
