Hodges Pond gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls all through July while November is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Gum Branch is a great site to stop by; dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns - Register. Hodges Pond Dam is an exciting thing to check out; Daisy Farms RV Park is a pleasant campground nearby. Hodges Pond is not far at all from Statesboro, and Southern Links Golf Club is a golf       course close by. If you need a place to stay La Quinta Inn Statesboro is a wonderful choice; Parkwood RV Park is a great local campground. At Hodges Pond all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Hodges Pond fall into the 30's. Not enough hours in                  a day to enjoy this site.
