Hodges Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Hard Labor Creek State Park is a nice local campground, and Little Flat Creek is near Hodges Lake and is always a diversion to check out. A round of golf at nearby Woodlake Golf Club is a great way to kill some time; Hodges Dam is a scenic spot, undeniably worth visiting. The warmest time of the year at Hodges Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's.

| | During the winter the highs are commonly in the 50's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Hodges Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Americas Best Value Inn is a perfect place to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Hard Labor Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. There's so much to do here at Hodges Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Simmeron Park is a fine place for that; whitewater paddling is not for everyone | |

but if it's for you then, we recommend Alcovy River. A great deal of precipitation falls at Hodges Lake; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here, and September is the month with the least moisture. You'll wish
for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Hodges Lake. The vista of Alcovy Mountain from Hodges Lake is scenic; you'll discover a gorgeous lake called Sewage Treatment Pond Number Two. This lake is so wonderful.
If you need a location to stay Country Hearth Inn Monroe is a great choice; lakes are such calm spots, why not explore Camp Lake.
