In Georgia there are many beautiful lakes, Hills Lake is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You could also stop at Lake Qualatchee while you're here at Hills Lake; it's close by. There's so much to do here at Hills Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gold 'n Gem Grubbin' Campground is a great place for that. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the area right next door to Hills Lake

| | has to offer. If you need a place to stay Cleveland Days Inn is a perfect choice, and a lake close by is Black Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hills Lake Dam is a beautiful place near Hills Lake; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail. So many enjoyable things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just impressive. local campground. Throughout the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Hills Lake, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's; after the
sun is down during the winter temperatures at Hills Lake sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is magnificent here at Hills Lake, you can go for a hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and lots of people
from Gainesville come here. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Chestatee River, and Quality Inn Helen is a perfect spot to get some rest.
A lot of precipitation falls at Hills Lake; the month with most of the rain is March while October is commonly the driest month. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Hills Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Tesnatee Creek.
