Paddling on Tesnatee Creek is so much fun, and the fine folks of Gainesville like to hang out close by. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Chestatee River, and do pop by Black Lake, it's a striking lake. This lake is so wonderful. Cathey Creek is near Hills Lake and is always a diversion to go to, and camping is available at Jenny's       Creek Campground. Days Inn Cleveland is a good location to get some rest, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. While you're here at Hills Lake you can take a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail, and you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Knight Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Hills Lake. Hills Lake Dam is not far at all from Hills Lake; a perfect place to camp here at Hills Lake is Gold 'n Gem Grubbin'                  Campground. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The high level of rain makes Hills Lake a reasonably wet place; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is peerless! Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Helen is a great location to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Hills Lake through the summertime are in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 60's.
