Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Mountain View Inn, and Hill Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Conasauga Campground is a pleasant local campground. If you need a place to stay Ramada Limited Of Blue Ridge is a delightful choice; you can run the rapids of Holly Creek.

| | Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Mountaintown Creek, and while you're here, you might as well have a look at Bear Pen Gap. An interesting thing to go to close to Hill Lake is Mountaintown Creek Watershed Dam Number Two, and the summit of Demps Mountain can be spotted from Hill Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little tour to Barnes Creek if you're here at Hill Lake, and going for a hike on the Bear Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure.

Go for a hike on the Mountaintown Creek Trail, and camping at Plum Nelly Campground is always a splendid experience. While you're here at Hill Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Cleveland, and don't leave Hill Lake without
first going for a hike along the South Fork Trail. High temperatures at Hill Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows
in the 20's for Hill Lake.
Hill Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is the month with the least moisture.
