At Hightower Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Hightower Lake. Hightower Lake is a wet location that gets a lot of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October.       Thomaston-Days Inn is a great spot to get some rest; enjoy a round of golf at Hickory Ridge Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Flint River, and there are plenty of people from Thomaston here. Having a nice time at Hightower Lake is trouble-free. From Hightower Lake you obtain a great view of Indian Grave Mountain, and at Hightower Dam near Hightower Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see. Paddling on Potato Creek                  is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hightower Lake has to offer, you can camp at Heart of Georgia RV Park.
