Just can't get enough of Hidden Lake. There's great hiking along the DeSoto Falls Trail. The high level of rain makes Hidden Lake a reasonably wet spot; through March this area sees the most rain; October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The view of scenic Sheep Knob near Hidden Lake is great, and don't leave Hidden Lake without first going for a hike along the Duncan Ridge       Trail. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. While you're here at Hidden Lake you can play some golf at Union County Government Butternut Creek Golf Course; after a long day outdoors Best Western Milton Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Camping is available at Lake Nottely RV Park, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Blood Mountain Creek. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Hidden Lake.                  Tanner Cove is in the vicinity of Hidden Lake and is a nice site to stop at, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Morton Lake is one of those close by. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hidden Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Hidden Lake are in the 20's. You might want to pay a visit to Miller Cove since you're here at Hidden Lake, and if you've had enough of Hidden Lake, George Lake is close by. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Camping at Mountain Oak Cabins and Campground is always a delightful experience; a nice close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Blairsville, Georgia. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Get dripping wet paddling on Cooper Creek; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Anderson Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
