If you like lakes and you're in this part of Georgia you can check out Hidden Lake. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. An out of the ordinary thing to pop by in the vicinity of Hidden Lake is Hidden Lake Dam, and camping is available at Etowah River Campground. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hidden Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that rains the most; October is

| | the month with the least moisture. Hidden Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Econo Lodge Dahlonega, and Hidden Lake is in the vicinity of Brookshire Gap which is positively worth stopping at. Going for a hike on the Benton Mackaye Trail is always a wonderful adventure. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. from Hidden Lake you'll hit upon Etowah Number 32 Lake which is a pretty lake.
Throughout the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Hidden Lake. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the
winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Hidden Lake. Why not camp at Woody Gap Campground if you're here at Hidden Lake, and nearby you hit upon the Duncan Ridge Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. There's
just no way somebody can get bored here at Hidden Lake. Lakes are great; Majors Lake is a lake that's close to Hidden Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Etowah River.
This
lake is so wonderful. Bull Creek is a good local stream, and you can distinguish Hogback Mountain from Hidden Lake. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Hidden Lake called the Black Mountain Trail, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega is a delightful place to spend a night or two.
