If you are in Lumpkin county it's always a good idea to stop by Hidden Lake. Hidden Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hidden Lake Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's close to Hidden Lake, and the sight of Hogback Mountain is lovely. Any time is a great time at Hidden Lake if you adore the outdoors. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Dahlonega is a great place to spend a night or two, and a good location for whitewater paddling is

If the weather is tremendous here at Hidden Lake, you can go for a hike along the Black Mountain Trail. There's so much to do here at Hidden Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Etowah River Campground is a great place for that. You absolutely have to love the Blue Ridge Mountains. place to do that. Hidden Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls during March, and October on the other hand is the driest.
During the summertime at Hidden Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Through
the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Hidden Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
The Duncan Ridge Trail is a magnificent hiking trail in the vicinity of Hidden Lake. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some of the water nearby flows, like Bull Creek;
Hidden Lake is close to Brookshire Gap which is definitely worth checking out.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega, and a pleasant visit to Devils Kitchen is a nice way to spend an afternoon.
