Go to Hicks Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. On a tremendous day at Hicks Lake you can take a hike along the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail. There's so much to do here at Hicks Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Church Campground is a wonderful location for that. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Little Towaliga River, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Ocmulgee River Trail. If you came to camp Forsyth Koa Kampground

| | is a glorious place to do that, and the Kinnard Horse Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby.
Any time is a fine time at Hicks Lake if you fancy the outdoors. There's always Hicks Lake Dam to explore next to Hicks Lake, and paddling on Big Sandy Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hicks Lake a wet location; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October.

wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Forsyth is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and lots of people from Macon come here. All through the summer months here at Hicks Lake, high temperatures typically get
into the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Hicks Lake are in the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Forsyth, and Ocmulgee National Monument is a fine local destination.
