Hicks Lake Dam is a beautiful place near Hicks Lake; Ocmulgee National Monument is a perfect place nearby. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Towaliga River; a picturesque lake like Evans Lake is a delightful location to check out. At Hicks Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in

| | the 50's, and night lows during the winter for Hicks Lake tend to be in the 30's. Do pop by Williams Lake near Hicks Lake, it's a charming lake; Forsyth Koa Kampground is a good campground nearby.
A lot of precipitation falls at Hicks Lake; the month with most of the rain is March; October on the other hand is the driest. So much cool stuff to do here at Hicks Lake, too brilliant to be true. Comfort Suites Forsyth is a perfect place to get some rest, | |

and going for a hike on the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail is always a magnificent adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Big Sandy Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and nearby you discover the Ocmulgee River Trail which
is a great hiking trail.
A good close by hotel is Comfort Inn Forsyth, and you can go for a hike on the Kinnard Horse Trail. The wonderful folks of Macon like to hang out nearby; Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park is a great local campground.
