Beautiful Heads Creek has much to offer visitors. Cheatam Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out; at Heads Creek you always meet someone from Thomaston. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. At Heads Creek through the summer months highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Heads Creek dipping down into

A great place to camp here at Heads Creek is Atlanta South Campground, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Newnan, GA. After a long day outdoors Griffin-Days Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two, and paddling on Line Creek is so much fun.
