At Haygood Pond throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Haygood Pond dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Best Western Hilltop Inn, and there's always Haygood Pond Dam to go to right next door       to Haygood Pond. There's whitewater on Little Towaliga River for all you adrenaline kick people, and if you came for an overnight stay Tabernacle Campground is a glorious place to camp. Haygood Pond frequently gets much rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; October is when it's the driest. Forsyth-Days Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and why not camp at Heart of Georgia RV Park while you're here at Haygood Pond.                  This place is excellent, just check out all the fun things to do near Haygood Pond.
